In reading Psalm 32 recently I was struck by verse 11: “Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.”

Because God has forgiven me (vs. 5) I have every reason to “be glad” and “rejoice!”  But oh, how I allow fears and anxieties and unbelief to fill my heart instead, and rob me of joy.  I am not believing and trusting my gracious loving God who waits to be asked and trusted!  Lord, help me to look above and stretch out my hand and heart to you and know the peace of God which passes all understanding?
